ABOUT MY PRACTICE

I am a perfectionist when it comes to the quality of the work that I produce.

That being said, I strongly believe that I am in the business of helping people, not just producing work. I believe an informal office is very important in order for clients to feel comfortable. Communication between me and my clients is the single most important factor in being able to help my clients, and I have found that a relaxed atmosphere results in better communication.

So come on in and make yourself comfortable.

SOME ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
The CPA exam has a reputation of being one of the most difficult professional exams. The year I took it in 1980, approximately 12% passed it on their first attempt. I was in that 12 percent. An award is given to all those who score over 80 on all four parts. Approximately 1% earn this award. My scores were 86,86,80, and 77 . So I missed it by three points.

The above stuff comes with the territory. I mention it because I know my website is different and way more casual that most. I just want you to understand that professional ability is not compromised by informality.

I have several interests outside of my work. My first love is my family. After that, I am passionate about alternative music that is produced in northern Europe by such artists as Wolfsheim and VNV Nation. My previous passion was two man beach volleyball, which I played until age 54. At that time one rating service listed me in the top 50 players in the state. My doctor gave me a choice, I could live a nice long life or continue playing beach volleyball, but not both. Currently, I (attempt to) play golf two or three times a week and fish in Canada two weeks a year.
